Greg Sherrod has been entertaining audiences in the New England region for 22 years, playing music in the best venues in the area. He spent many years involved in musical theater performing in many productions like Jesus Christ Super, Nunsence, and being involved in Dandelion Children's Theater, Growing up African-American in a white suburb exposed him to many different musical influences: in the home ... Aretha Franklin, Isaac Hayes, Curtis Mayfield: on the block... Kiss, ZZ Top, and the Blue Oyster Cult. Playing in the rock n' roll bands at night and taking classical voice lessons during the day, Greg learned about all kinds of music, not just the music relegated by the stereotype to his race and class. He has taken the stage with bands like The Clarke Brothers, and Powerhouse, and supported or played with acts like Tower of Power, John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band, King's X, Deep Banana Blackout, E.C. Scott, K.D. Bell, and James Motgomery. Greg also led the house band at The Newport Blues Cafe. Now he has gone solo and is brining BLUES N SOUL N ROCK N ROLL to your area!

The Greg Sherrod Band is fun and different. The shows gets your customers involved with the action, and when people are involved they stay and they drink. The band works very hard to make sure every night is a uniquely entertaining musical event; playing some of your favorites tunes in ways you've never heard. Greg is constantly prompting the crowd to keep them fired up, and during one of his tunes walks the bar singing without the benefit of a microphone! When the crowd stays the cash register rings.
